Fees & Insurance

Insurance

Insurance coverage may vary between providers at Redwood Collaborative and it is important to check with your insurance carrier to verify coverage of services and understand out-of-pocket costs that you may be responsible for such as co-pays, co-insurance, or cost of services before a deductible is met. If you choose to use insurance and have in-network coverage, we will bill your insurance for all eligible services you receive at Redwood Collaborative, however in the unlikely case that any claims for services are denied, you may be responsible for the full cost of those services. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide invoices ("superbills") that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement, however you will still be responsible for the full cost of services at the time of your appointment.

Fees

Cost of Services

The cost of services may vary by provider due to different credentials and other factors, so for the most accurate and up-to-date fees, please ask your provider or feel free to contact us with any questions. It is also helpful to know that, while we bill our standard full rates to insurance, the actual cost and reimbursement rate is dictated by contractual agreements with each insurance plan and may vary based on provider credentials. This means that co-insurance and co-pay amounts can be vary greatly depending on the plan. We do offer discounts for individuals paying for services out-of-pocket and may be able to offer (depending on availability) reduced-fees for individuals facing financial hardships who do not have insurance that covers our services.

Missed Appointments and Cancellations:

Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. Though we understand life happens and may make exceptions for emergencies and certain other unforeseen circumstances, you will otherwise be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. For clients using OHP/CareOregon (Medicaid), there will be no charge, however we may need to discontinue services if there are 2 or more missed appointments or late cancellations. While we wish this financial burden didn't fall on anyone, this policy is unfortunately necessary because scheduled session times are held exclusively for you and insurance does not reimburse us for missed or late-cancelled appointments. It is also important to note that if you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time. Please let us know if you have any questions about our policies or fees.
